Is there a way to add an option to log Registered users Total Time logged in by % of time?

I was looking for something like this site which shows how long I have been logged in. Or this example, Online  26.48% of the time (since 2003-09-03 or First seen)

I have tried some scripts but they restart when Hub is restarted. I was looking for something permanent.

As it can be scripted it is unlikely it will be added to the API.

I have no scripting experience. I am however, looking it to going to school or trying to find help online. I am reading as much as I can. It is a bit overwhelming. The scripts are getting easier to read and I hope to write my own someday. I'm just not quite sure where to begin.
